Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

FoodCollab ("we," "us") operates an online marketplace from Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. By using FoodCollab, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data:Name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and user type (restaurant or influencer).
  • Profile data:Restaurant name, address, and cuisine type; influencer handle, platforms, follower ranges, rates, and bio.
  • Payment data:When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number. We store a Stripe customer ID and your subscription status and renewal dates.
  • Usage data:Messages sent, appointments scheduled, and pages visited — used to operate and improve the Platform.
  • Device data:Browser type, IP address, and general location (country/city level) for security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Operate the Platform:Display your profile to matched users, deliver messages, and send appointment notifications.
  • Process payments:Manage subscriptions, billing, and renewals through Stripe.
  • Improve the product:Analyze aggregated usage patterns to build better features.
  • Security:Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
  • Communication:Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing notices). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

3. Payment Processing

Subscription payments are handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive only limited information, such as your subscription status, billing dates, and a customer identifier.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the Platform: (a) with other users — your profile information (name, bio, platforms, rates) is visible to users of the opposite type, so restaurants see influencer profiles and vice versa; (b) with service providers who process data on our behalf; and (c) when required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FoodCollab or others.

5. Service Providers

  • Vercel:Application hosting and content delivery.
  • Supabase:Database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Stripe:Payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Resend:Transactional email delivery.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records for tax or accounting purposes) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

FoodCollab uses browser storage and essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Your Rights

  • Access:View the data in your profile at any time.
  • Correction:Edit your profile information directly in the dashboard.
  • Deletion:Delete your account, or contact us to request deletion of your data.
  • Portability:Contact us to request an export of your data.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used; to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at foodcollab.app@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Children’s Privacy

FoodCollab is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International Users

FoodCollab is operated in the United States and our service providers may process and store data in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform or by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

14. Contact
